Por Roberto Pérez S.-La firma de los cuatro aros ha hecho oficial la fecha para el debut mundial del su nuevo Q5: Será el próximo 15 de abril cuando podamos conocer todos los detalles del nuevo Crossover compacto de la marca alemana que vendrá a competir con el BMW X3, el Volvo XC60 y el futuro Mercedes-Benz GLK. Este modelo se estima salga a la venta en Europa y Estados Unidos junio de este año, mientras que a las agencias mexicanas arribará a principios del 2009. The Audi A5 was recently showcased in “Kite”, a TV ad in which two sports cars steer a stunt kite in a desert area near Swakopmund, Namibia. Rumors of the Audi RS4's death have been at least slightly exaggerated, an Audi spokesman has said. Last week, British car magazine Autocar claimed Audi would end production of the RS4 imminently to make way for the RS6. Not quite true, says Patrick Hespen of Audi Media Relations. "There will be a full build of the 2008 model year RS4 sedan, and production is still continuing," Hespen told Winding Road. Apparently, the diesel version will be made available towards the end of next year, following the arrival of a mighty V10 powered model. The 4.2L TDI will be lifted from the company’s Q7 SUV, but we can expect it to be tweaked a little, taking power from 322bhp up to around 350bhp. The sprint to 60mph should be in the region of 5 seconds, while a 160mph top speed seems very realistic. The 5.0L V10 model should be with us by early 2008, priced around £85,000.
